PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- The South Dakota Department of Public Safety is closing Interstate 90 from the Wyoming border to the west edge of Rapid City.
The route was slated to be closed from Rapid City to Wall later Monday afternoon.
The department says forecasts indicate an inch of snow an hour will be falling in the Rapid City area, and, when combined with high winds, will create zero visibility.
