FARGO - A Cass County jailer was treated for a dislocated shoulder after stopping a man who was trying to flee the jail.
Deputy Thomas Behm was hurt when Garrett Wade Byrd reported to the jail about 7:25 p.m. Friday for court-mandated 24/7 sobriety testing and Behm informed him he was being placed under arrest for an active city of Fargo warrant, said Cass County sheriff's Sgt. Tim Briggeman.
Byrd tried to flee the lobby, Briggeman said, and Behm tried to stop him.
