James A. Bullinger, 57, Dickinson died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 at his home. Funeral services for Jim will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 27, at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Fr. Todd Kreitinger presiding. Interment will take place at the Killdeer Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

James A. Bullinger was born July 31, 1951, in Dickinson the son of John and Eleanor (Bosch) Bullinger. He was raised and educated in Killdeer and New Hradec, and had graduated from Dickinson High School in 1970.

Jim married Florence Dawang on May 13, 1976 in Dickinson. He had worked in the grocery business in Killdeer, did construction with Kolling & Kolling, and also with a security business prior to health reasons causing an early retirement.

Jim enjoyed having coffee with his friends, watching wrestling on TV, and was a handy-man with fixing things. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his four children, Joshua Dawang, Dickinson, Jonathan Bullinger, San Francisco, Calif., Kristy (Paul) Kromarek, Hulette, Wyo., and Melissa (Jerry) Rhoads, Dickinson; his mother, Eleanor Nelson, Dickinson; one sister, Katherine (Bob) Bren, Gladstone; two brothers, Leo Bullinger, Richardton, and David (Mary) Bullinger, Dickinson; and five grandchildren, Noah, Logan, Tyler, Mckenna and Seth. He was preceded in death by his dad and his stepfather Maynard Nelson.
