KENSAL (AP) -- Searches of the James River area in Foster County this week have turned up no trace of a missing Kensal-area man.
Twenty-six-year-old Josh Blahna has not been seen since Sunday.
Searchers dragged the river for more than seven hours on Thursday. Officials on more than a dozen all-terrain vehicles also have searched the shore area.
Authorities say footprints from Blahna's parked car with a flat tire led investigators to a shoe near the river. His mother later identified the shoe as belonging to her son.
