Jerald Eugene Cook, 70, Sentinel Butte, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at the Methodist Hospital, Arcadia, Calif.

Visitation is on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at the Douglass Zook Mortuary, Arcadia, with a vigil at 6:30 p.m.

Jerald's Mass of Christian burial is at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at the Holy Angels Catholic Church, Arcadia.

Douglass and Zook Mortuary of Arcadia is entrusted with arrangements for services in California.

A memorial service is at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Beach, with the Rev. David Richter officiating.

A rite of committal is in St. Michael's Cemetery, Sentinel Butte.

Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home, Beach, is entrusted with local arrangements.

Jerry was born on May 2, 1937, in Sentinel Butte, the son of Edward and Bertha (Reed) Cook.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Grace; his children, Suzanne, Sally and Brent; his grandchildren, Amber, Mallory and Courtney; his brothers, Jim Cook, Miles City, Mont., Ward (Rita) Cook, Sun City, Ariz., and Douglas Reed Cook, Glendive, Mont.; his sisters, Gwen (Arlo) Huber, Veradale, Wash., and Patty (Gary) Aubertin, Soap Lake, Wash.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Home On The Range, 16351 I-94, Sentinel Butte, N.D., 58654.
