Karyl "Butch" Kinnischtzke, 66, Glen Ullin, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, while a patient at Medcenter One.
Butch's funeral services are at 10 a.m. CST on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Glen Ullin.
Burial is in the Glen Ullin Cemetery.
Visitation starts at 4 p.m. on Monday at Spangelo Funeral Home, Glen Ullin, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Butch was born on Nov. 4, 1941, in Glen Ullin, the son of Victor and Elfrieda (Braun) Kinnischtzke.

He was raised near Glen Ullin and graduated from Glen Ullin.
Butch worked in road construction for four years before taking over the family farm.
In 1965, Carol Ames came to Glen Ullin to teach school. Butch and Carol's friendship blossomed in to love, and they were married on Dec. 23, 1967.
Butch's life long farming legacy continues through his two sons, Lyle and Lynn.
He was involved in his community as a member of the First Congregational UCC Church, a past city councilmen and Airport Authority.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, Glen Ullin; and two sons, Lyle (Julie), and Lynn (Nicole); grandchildren, Brooke, Drew, Jacob and Kaitlyn; one sister, Dalyce Feemster, Tucson, Ariz., two nephews, Derrick Feemster and Gary Sanborn; and one niece, Lauren Schroeder.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Bernyce Sanborn; and a nephew, James Sanborn.
