Leontine "Lea" Rose Braun, 76, Willmar, Minn., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at her home.
Lea's funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. CDT on Monday, Oct. 22, at the Church of St. Mary, Willmar.
Interment is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. CDT on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home, Willmar, with a rosary service at 7 p.m.
Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Lea was born on March 16, 1931, in Regent, the daughter of Mike and Margaret (Wandler) Jahner. She grew up and received her education in Regent.
On June 12, 1950, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Regent, she was married to John Braun.
They lived in Dickinson and Colby, Kan., before moving to Willmar in 1955.
She was a homemaker and an Avon sales representative for over 20 years, retiring in 1993.
She was an active member of the Church of St. Mary and was a past president of the Parish Society and member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary.
Lea was also a volunteer election judge for many years. S
he enjoyed baking, traveling, gardening, playing cards and bible study.
She is survived by her husband, John, Willmar; four children, Lauren Braun, Willmar; Albin Braun, Willmar; Gerald (Lynette) Braun, Willmar; and Deborah (David) Sweep, Spicer, Minn.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, George (Rose) Jahner, Bismarck, and Simon (Bertha) Jahner, Regent; four sisters, Pauline Frank, Willmar; Catherine (Don) Franchuk, Dickinson; Viola (Jim) Franchuk, Bismarck; and Dorothy (Rodger) Nichols, Fargo; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law, Christian Frank; and a sister-in-law, Sally Jahner.
