Oh! Oh! -- observed and opined:
1. Some folks dare not write to the editor because of their fear of peer pressure; they complain but fail to speak out constructively.
2. "Dickinson" found a way to keep the speed down on its streets -- leave 1 ½ inches of snow on the road and shake each car to the point of damage.
3. The car that waits when traffic is open for easy entry to the roadway is that one that pulls out in front of you.
4. The car that travels at less than 40 mph in a 45 mph speed zone is the one that travels 40 mph in the 35 mph speed zone.

5. Cars go through red lights to get ahead of you and then drive at 10 mph less than the posted speed limit.
6. One vehicle traveling at 10 mph less than the speed limit is a great hazard as it deters others from "getting along with normalized life."
7. Only in Dickinson do you find cars/drivers going through green lights with their foot on the brake pedal.
8. Driving is a full-time job, requiring careful attention and constant awareness.
9. The standard operating procedure for some vehicles to move from a stop is to take the foot off the brake, not necessarily to step on the foot feed (accelerator).
10. Talking on the cell phone while driving is not safe but is widespread, rampant and rife.
11. Outlawing the use of a cell phone while driving presents an enforcement issue that could not be evenly applied.
12. The two traffic lights on Villard are so perfectly timed that being able to go through each, any direction without a stop, at the speed limit, is not possible.

13. As the traffic lights on Villard do deter traffic and are consistently so well/mis-timed, it is indicated that such timing may be amendable to assist/permit traffic flow.
14. If you hit a valley (inverted speed bump), located at too many intersections, at greater than 7 mph, you may acquire a loss of exhaust system, damage to the suspension or both.
15. There is an answer to and for each problem.
16. Communication is the ingredient for and toward progress.
17. The human brain is not capable of doing more than one thing at a time, thus using the cell phone, managing the baby, eating while driving responsibly isn't possible.
