I couldn't believe what I was reading when I read about Blue Cross and their shenanigans down in Fargo.
A CEO with drunken driving charges and various other things (newspaper quote) and now a quarter million dollar cruise on unauthorized company money. Now he is finally fired with $2.2 million in severance pay. He was only getting $1 million a year in the first place.
I wonder what the governor gets. What do our congressmen down in Washington get?
Now they want an increase in premiums and reduced benefits. What kind of board is running this? Maybe a change in board members might be in order!
We went through something like this in Bismarck with workman's comp, only on a much smaller scale. Not all the board could stand up the the heat and quit for various reasons. The head man was put on trial -- I don't know how that came out but it was peanuts to the Blue's doings.

That old boy down in Washington talks about cleaning up some of this mess, well, we better start right here in our own backyard. This mess isn't going to clean up starting at the top. You have to start right down here. The only job you start at the top is digging a hole!
God better help us because it doesn't seem like anyone else can!
