Lillian A. Pavlish, 91, Dickinson, died Monday, July 9, 2007, at St. Benedict's Health Center, Dickinson.
Lillian's Mass of Christian burial is at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2007, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with the Rev. Jim Braaten as the celebrant.
Interment is in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1-9 p.m. today at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a rosary and vigil service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Ray Jilek presiding.
Ludmilla "Lillian" A. Kubas was born June 4, 1916, on the family farm north of South Heart, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Ridl) Kubas. She was raised and educated north of South Heart.

Lillian married Frank J. Pavlish on Nov. 5, 1935, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, New Hradec.
They lived in Dickinson where she worked at the Bon Ton Bakery and then for many years as a custodian for Dickinson State College at Pulver Hall, retiring in the mid 1970s.
In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing dresses for her nieces, decorating cakes, working in her flower garden, crocheting and was very proud of her '64 Chevy Impala two-door.
Lillian is survived by three sisters, Frances Fisher, Dickinson, Jenny Wolf, Fargo, and Gladys (Lawrence) Hlebechuk, Dickinson; sister-in-law, Lillian Hoerner, Dickinson; a special niece and caregiver, Noreen (Von) Johnson, Belfield; and several other niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in October 1973; her parents; two sisters, Sophie Kubas and Emma Ficek; her brother, Joe L. Kubas; sister-in-law, Barbara Kubas; and three brothers-in-law, Adolph Ficek, Adolph Fisher and Anthony Wolf.
