City of Dickinson weekend closures due to impending storm

The incoming weekend blizzard has issued some closures for the City of Dickinson.

The City of Dickinson Baler Building, pictured above, will be closed Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24, 2022, due to an incoming blizzard system that is set to hit central and western North Dakota over the weekend.

Due to the impending blizzard that is slated to begin 3 a.m. MST Saturday and last until 6 p.m. MST Sunday, the City of Dickinson announced that the Baler Building will be closed Saturday and Sunday.

In the public notification, the city apologized for any inconveniences this closure might have with the incoming storm. For more information regarding this closure, call 701-456-7776.

With the weather forescasted to change rapidly on Saturday, the city has also rescheduled the Backyard Compost Supply Pickup to Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to noon. The pickup will take place at the Baler Building, located at 3389 Energy Drive. For additional resources or information on this program, call 701-456-7873.
