PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- A Philadelphia hospital spokeswoman says Lynne Cheney is being evaluated after fainting.
Hahnemann University Hospital spokeswoman Coleen Cannon says former Vice President Dick Cheney's wife fainted sometime Monday afternoon. She was taken to Hahnemann's emergency department.
The hospital statement doesn't say where she was when she fainted and doesn't indicate her condition.
An aide to Dick Cheney says she was in Philadelphia on a private visit with her family.
It was unclear whether Lynne Cheney was still at the hospital Monday evening.
