REDFIELD, S.D. – A 25-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday morning near Redfield, S.D.
The other driver, a 37-year-old man, sustained minor injuries. Names of the two men are not being released pending notification of families.
A Chevy Impala was northbound on 389th Avenue when it failed to stop for a stop sign. The vehicle was struck by a 2014 Chevy Silverado pickup which was westbound on U.S. Highway 212.
The driver of the Impala, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup, who was wearing a seatbelt, received minor injuries. No one else was involved in the crash.
