A Texas man charged with murder in connection to a Dunn County shooting will be transported from Alabama by next week, Dunn County State's Attorney Ross Sundeen said Friday.

Shane Patrick Miller, 39, was arrested April 11 in Gulf Shores, Ala., in connection with the shooting of Neal Matejovsky of Dickinson.

"He has to be picked up before April 23 and I know that arrangements have been made, but when those arrangements are implemented, I don't know," Sundeen said. "I don't know when they're going to pick him up and I don't know when he is going to arrive."

Miller will be taken to Dickinson's Southwest Multi County Correction Center.

Matejovsky, 49, went missing in March and his body was found in April 11 in Dunn County.
