Case of alleged intent to distribute meth dismissed for federal prosecution

The case against Montana resident Michael Villalobos, 22, for the Class A felony of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver was dismissed on the assumption that it would move to federal prosecution.

Villalobos was arrested alongside Montana residents Teal Harris and Devin Mitchell when authorities discovered approximately 7.8 grams of meth in the vehicle occupied. All of them were given the same charge.

Stark County State’s Attorney Tom Henning informed the court that Villalobos had been apprehended for drug charges by U.S. Marshals in Montana, where he is being held in federal custody.
