Richard Gore, a 45-year-old Dickinson man, was arrested for terrorizing after allegedly pulling a knife on another man early Sunday morning, according to the Dickinson Police Department.
The incident occurred at Gore's residence Seventh Avenue West when an argument ensued between him and two other individuals, Capt. Dustin Dassinger said.
Gore allegedly went into the kitchen during the argument and returned with an 8-inch knife.
He held the knife to Charles Davis Jr.'s throat and "made threatening comments," Dassinger said.
"The other individuals had then knocked the knife away from him and then a fight had taken place in the living room area," Dassinger said. "It looks like the individual that was arrested had a swollen face and was bleeding from his nose."

Neither Davis nor Carlo Touchine, who was also involved in the altercation, needed medical attention and nobody was cut by the knife, he added.
However, Gore was transported to the St. Joseph Hospital's emergency room, Dassinger said.
"This Richard had originally reported that he was jumped by three people near St. Patrick's church," Dassinger said. "He had stated that they had asked him for money and he refused and they proceeded to beat him. That's not exactly happened."
Gore alerted authorities of the alleged assault, Dassinger said. Police later learned of the alleged altercation that occurred at Gore's residence, he added.
No phone numbers are listed for any of the men involved in the incident.
