GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) -- A 41-year-old Great Falls man facing a negligent homicide charge in a woman's fatal drug overdose is one of two men who were found dead of a suspected drug overdose.
Cascade County Deputy Coroner Matt Darlington says David Beverly and 57-year-old Daniel Lull, had been dead for days when their bodies were found in Beverly's apartment Wednesday evening.
Undersheriff Blue Corneliusen says the initial investigation indicates the men died of a drug overdose. Toxicology reports could take weeks.
In July, Beverly pleaded not guilty to negligent homicide and other drug charges. He was accused of selling prescription methadone to a 42-year-old woman, who died of an overdose in June. Beverly's trial had been scheduled for Nov. 16.
