WILLISTON – An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of trafficking two women in Williston last fall.
Ogtarious Allen is charged with promoting prostitution, a Class C felony, in Northwest Judicial District Court.
Court records say the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation received a tip in October that two young women were observed with a man at a Williston hotel and suspected to be involved with prostitution.
Investigators arranged a meeting with one of the women at a hotel and while there, Allen and the other woman arrived at the room.
Court records say Allen had IDs and credit cards belonging to the women in his wallet, but neither woman had any cash or ID. Investigators also found photos on Allen’s phone of the two women that matched Backpage.com escort ads, records say.
