WILLISTON -- A 59-year-old Casper, Wyo., man died Friday after he went into the ditch and overturned the 2011 Chevrolet pickup he was driving east on Highway 1804 about 3 miles west of Williston.
The man went into the south ditch and began to overturn when the vehicle then vaulted off an intersection road, struck a traffic sign and mailboxes before coming to a rest on its passenger side facing west in an adjacent field, according to a release by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The man, who was not wearing safety restraints, was completely ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
