TIOGA (AP) -- Williams County authorities say a man died at an oil well site over the weekend, apparently after a valve broke and released hydrogen sulfide gas and oil.
The sheriff's office says 48-year-old Duran Hawkinson of Tioga was found dead Saturday afternoon by another worker. The well site was west of Tioga.
Authorities say it appeared Hawkinson was working on a tank when the valve broke. They say there's no evidence of a crime.
