MINOT -- A Williston man who had been reported missing from Minot is believed to have traveled out of state and is not in danger.

Floyd Dell Hayes Jr., 41, was reported missing July 31, but Minot police said Wednesday they received reliable information indicating Hayes had left on his own.

Hayes is still listed as a missing person and will remain on that status until law enforcement can verify his well-being and whereabouts, police said.
