WILLMAR, Minn. -- A 34-year-old man was severely injured in a workplace accident Thursday afternoon after being caught in a piece of machinery at Monson gravel pit north of here. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office responded to the call around 2:40 p.m.
According to a Sheriff's Office news release, the man was airlifted from the scene to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, and the accident is being investigated by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
