MANDAN(AP) -- Authorities say a man shot in the shoulder during a standoff in Hebron has been moved from a hospital to jail.
George Fischer faces charges of assault on a peace officer and terrorizing.
Authorities say the 52-year-old Fischer made threats and assaulted a deputy after he was told his water service might be disconnected because of an unpaid bill.
Authorities say a SWAT team member shot Fischer, who had a rifle, in the shoulder early Wednesday. The standoff lasted more than eight hours at his Hebron home.
The SWAT team member's name has not been released.
