He's had to deal with snow, parking lot projects and the occasional pheasant on the runway, but apparently he's weathered those storms well.
Dickinson Municipal Airport Manager Matthew Remynse received a positive performance review from the Airport Authority Board at its regular meeting Thursday, which had been postponed following Monday's storm.
Board President Jon Frantsvog said Remynse has done a good job as the evaluation showed.
"Overall, just very positive, with a nice smattering of areas where he could have some additional growth," Frantsvog said.
Evaluations were completed by each member of the board.

The board agreed to a raise for Remynse following his positive review. His salary now sits at $35,450.
Also on the agenda, resident Norbert Sickler updated the board on developments on his property just north of the airport's general aviation and commercial terminals.
A housing development is currently under construction on a quarter of land north of his home.
Sickler informed the board if the airport was in the market for some land he would be open to offers from the board if they were looking to develop something on land nearby.
Frantsvog said the board appreciated Sickler being a good neighbor and updating them on changes that will or could be happening in the near future.
