A service of remembrance for Mathilde Ehlers, 84, Hettinger, is Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hettinger Lutheran Church. The Rev. Kathleen Dettmann will officiate and burial will follow at the Hettinger Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1-7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4, 2006, at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home, Hettinger, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday morning.
A family service is at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ehlers passed away at the Hillcrest Care Center, Hettinger, on Sept. 1, 2006.
Survivors include her son, Ron (Sue) Ehlers, Sheridan, Wyo.; daughter, Bev (Ronnie) Blackwell, Rapid City; son, Jerry (Karan) Ehlers, Hettinger; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Minnie (Bill) Luckow, Hettinger; and sisters-in-law, Julie Kvanvig, Hettinger and Ann Walch, Cerritos, Calif.

Preceding Mathilde in death were her parents; her husband, George Ehlers Jr.; sisters, Gladys, Jenniva, Alma and Alice; brothers, Melvin, Selmer and Arthur and one granddaughter, Tammy.
