The vice president for academic affairs at Missouri Southern State University is the president-select for Dickinson State University.
The North Dakota Board of Higher Education chose Dr. Richard McCallum after final interviews were conducted at the DSU Student Center Wednesday morning. Along with McCallum, the board also interviewed Dr. Bruce Speck of Austin Peay State University.
McCallum is the choice to replace Dr. Lee Vickers, who announced his retirement earlier this year. McCallum will work with Vickers as part of the transition process in assuming the presidential duties at DSU.
