WATFORD CITY, N.D. -- The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a suspect linked to a Sunday evening shooting and domestic violence incident at an RV park south of Watford City.
Kristopher Reddell, 28, is being sought by law enforcement for questioning related to an incident where a woman was sent to McKenzie County Hospital with injuries after McKenzie County sheriff’s deputies and Watford City police responded to a report of shots fired at the Clear Water RV Park on 17th Avenue Southwest at about 5:52 p.m.
Though the woman was not shot, she was treated at the hospital for other minor injuries and was released.
Reddell fled the location and was possibly still in possession of a handgun. He is described as a 6-foot, 185-pound white male with brown hair and blue eyes.
McKenzie County Sheriff Gary Schwartzenberger stated in a news released that the “incident appears to have been domestic violence related and appears to be an isolated incident.”
