The board also set a date for interview for the final four applicants, which is scheduled to be held March 2 through March 5.
"I would suggest we do one a day," Rummel said. "We are setting the schedule up fairly similar to what we did last time."
Rummel said a tentative schedule of events for each final applicant will include a tour of the schools, lunch with outgoing superintendent Paul Stremick, a tour of Dickinson, along with an informal meeting with staff or community members, followed by dinner with the board and then a formal interview.
"We want to make sure the individual knows all the things that are going on in our wonderful community and to show it off," Rummel said.
In other news, a one-year baseball agreement with Dickinson Public Schools and Dickinson Baseball Club Inc., was up for renewal and was passed unanimously.
