Meeting to discuss Watford City highway improvements

WATFORD CITY -- The North Dakota Department of Transportation is holding a public input meeting to discuss proposed improvements to state Highway 23A in Watford City on from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17 in the Heritage Room at the Watford City City Hall.

WATFORD CITY -- The North Dakota Department of Transportation is holding a public input meeting to discuss proposed improvements to state Highway 23A in Watford City on from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17 in the Heritage Room at the Watford City City Hall.

Proposed improvements to Highway 23A from the junction of U.S. Highway 85B to the junction of Highway 23B in Watford City will be discussed. The project consists of widening, turn lanes, surfacing, curb and gutter, shared use path, and lighting.

The meeting is an open house format with a formal presentation beginning at 5:30 p.m. Representatives from the NDDOT and Brosz Engineering will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.
