GRAND FORKS (AP) -- Three men have pleaded guilty to charges of arson and conspiracy for fires that burned six homes on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation.
The U.S. attorney's office identified the men as 19-year-old Brock Chidester of Rolla and 21-year-olds Troy Trottier and John Houle, both of Belcourt.
Prosecutors say the men admitted to entering several homes on Dec. 13, 2008, and setting fires with a lighter. Six homes burned to the ground.
The men pleaded guilty to six counts each of arson and one count of conspiracy. Sentencings are set for July 12 in Minot.
Each faces up to five years for the conspiracy charge and 25 years on each of the arson charges.
