BISMARCK -- The Dickinson High volleyball team found themselves in a dogfight Tuesday night against a tough Bismarck Century team.
Led by strong defense, the Midgets came back from two games down and forced a fifth game.
In the deciding game, senior Shaunda Dvorak came up with two key blocks to finish off the Patriots, 16-14.
The Midgets won 22-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-20, 16-14.
Century came out firing early, led by Carli Peterson's 17 kills and won the first two games. However, Dickinson would not go quietly.

"It was a game of runs," Dickinson coach Jay Schobinger said. "The kids really battled and did a great job defensively."
Freshman Jess Herauf provided Dickinson with a team-high 24 kills, and senior setter Whitley Abrahamson finished with 48 assists. Dvorak finished with 11 kills and a team-high five blocks.
