MINOT -- The Dickinson High wrestling team is sending 13 grapplers to the Class A state tournament, which starts Thursday at the Fargodome.
Led by Justin Brown's first-place finish at the 112-pound class, the Midgets had a strong showing at the West Region meet on Saturday, placing third with 163 points.
Bismarck High won the meet with 274.5 points and Century was runner-up with 215.
Brown's region title came over Williston's Kirby Kain by 1-0 decision.
Brown, a senior, was one of four Midgets in the finals. Damian Berger (135), Pat Tangen (140) and heavyweight Colton Couch all reached the title match, but couldn't pull out wins.
