GRAND FORKS -- Dickinson High had a rough day at the Class A state boys golf tournament Monday.
The Midgets are in 10th place out of 12 teams with a team score of 355 heading into the second and final day of the tournament at Grand Forks Country Club.
"I think the kids, as well as I, know we can shoot better than what they did," Fox said. "They know they can all improve."
Cole Baker leads the Midgets with an 83. He was only three strokes outside of the top 10, which is the cutoff for all-state.
"His front nine, he played real well ... he was hitting fairways and greens," Dickinson coach Mark Fox said. "His short game was just on. He played well."
