BUFFALO, Minn. - A 17-year-old Minnesota woman crashed through the front of the building here that administers driver's license tests - while she was attempting to pass the road portion of her driver's license exam.
Buffalo Police said in a Facebook post that the incident happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, in the 10 block of First Avenue South in Buffalo, a town of about 15,000 residents in Minnesota's Wright County northwest of Minneapolis.
According to police, the teenager was in the process of taking her road test at the driver's license exam station when she inadvertently put the vehicle in drive instead of reverse. The vehicle moved forward over the curb and struck the building that houses the exam station office.
Police said the impact of the crash caused significant damage to both the vehicle and the building.
The driver was not injured in the accident, but a 60-year-old license examiner was taken by ambulance to the Buffalo Hospital with injuries that weren't life-threatening, according to police.
No charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
