MINOT, N.D. -- Minot police have caught a person who passed a counterfeit $100 bill at a city restaurant earlier this month.

Investigations commander Capt. John Klug thanked the media for sharing the photo of the woman which led to police identifying her.

He said the investigation was ongoing so no name was released on Wednesday.

The woman used the fake bill at Dickey’s Restaurant in Minot.
