FARGO - A Minnesota State University Moorhead music student was arrested last week after leaving a recital with intent to deal marijuana, authorities said.
According to charges filed Friday in Cass County District Court, West Fargo police Officer Ryan Denis pulled over Clyde David Schuman, 20, of Moorhead, Minn., about 9:30 p.m. April 10 for driving with a burned-out taillight.
Denis smelled marijuana and asked Schuman where he had been, according to the report. Schuman said he was coming from an orchestra recital.
During a search of the vehicle, Denis allegedly found a green duffle bag; four Mason jars, two of which were filled with marijuana; a scale; 17 marijuana pipes with drug residue; rolling papers; plastic baggies with marijuana and without; a glass bong; five Mason jars with marijuana residue; and a gas mask.
