DEVILS LAKE, N.D. - A Devils Lake man accused of killing a rural Viking, Minn., man earlier this month waived extradition to Minnesota on Monday.
Ray Erick Littlewolf Jr., 25, agreed to the transfer during an extradition hearing before District Judge Donovan Foughty.
Littlewolf is wanted in Marshall County, Minn., in connection with the murder of 64-year-old Ronald Dale Foss, who was found dead March 16 in his home near Viking.
Littlewolf was arrested March 20 near Devils Lake. A pickup belonging to Foss was found March 19 in the shallow waters of Devils Lake. The pickup had been set on fire in an apparent attempt to get rid of it, according to Marshall County Sheriff Jason Boman.
Last week, Littlewolf refused to be returned voluntarily to Minnesota. He told the court he wanted to consult with an attorney and that he would not waive extradition to Minnesota.
