A 32-year-old Belfield man was killed in a single-car, rollover accident 12 miles southwest of South Heart on Wednesday night.
Justin Weigum was driving eastbound on 45th Street Southwest when he failed to properly negotiate a curve in the roadway, according to the crash release by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The vehicle then turned clockwise, entered the ditch and rolled.
The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, the release stated. He died on scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
