FARGO (AP) -- A former Fargo securities broker who was recently paroled from prison is back behind bars.
State parole and probation officials tell KFGO radio that Bruce Hager broke conditions of his release by having blank checks. Officials say it's considered a serious violation because of his earlier convictions for selling unregistered securities and failing to meet state securities registration requirements.
Hager originally was sentenced to six months of home confinement and put on probation, but later sentenced to more than two years in prison after guns were found in his Fargo office.
Authorities say Hager has been placed in a Bismarck jail.
