North Dakota's Health Department is reporting 712 confirmed cases of the flu this week. That's up from 521 last week.
Health officials say all but eight of North Dakota's 53 counties have reported flu activity this week and 13 people have been hospitalized. Cass County reports 139 cases, Burleigh County 101 and Grand Forks County 52.
Health officials say last year at this time there were 2,539 confirmed flu cases.
