ND makes Business Insider list

FARGO - With all due apologies to Hall and Oates, each new “best of” list North Dakota and the Fargo metro area land on is like a little kiss. This week, Business Insider ranked North Dakota’s economy as the best in the nation, touting the state’s strong oil economy, nonfarm payrolls that have grown 5.42 percent and unemployment at a national-best 2.8 percent. North Dakota and cities in the state have made multiple lists in the last several years thanks to an oil boom that boosted the economy, though not all have been positive.
