FINLEY, N.D. (AP) -- A North Dakota man is accused of using text messages and Facebook postings to try to attract a 15-year-old Illinois girl for sex.
North Dakota authorities arrested Brandon Murch, of Finley, on Tuesday.
Murch is being held in the Cass County jail on $25,000 bond while he awaits extradition to Illinois.
Sycamore, Illinois, Police Sgt. Rod Swartzendruber told Fargo's KFGO Radio that the girl's parents alerted police about the messages their daughter was getting.
Authorities traced the messages to Murch and notified the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
