A North Dakota man serving a federal prison sentence says he will plead guilty to an illegal weapons charge.
Richard Lovelace is charged in federal court with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a stolen firearm. A plea hearing is scheduled for Monday in Fargo.
Authorities say Lovelace had a stolen .270 caliber rifle in his possession between February and March 2008. He was arrested later that year for violating conditions of his release.
Court documents show that Lovelace failed a drug test and missed appointments with a probation officer in Devils Lake.
