The North Dakota Department of Transportation issued a travel alert for a number of south central areas of the state, according to a press release issued this morning.
Cities included in the alert include Bismarck, Washburn, Glen Ullin, Steele, Flasher, Napoleon, Linton and surrounding areas due to heavy snow fall causing reduced visibility and slushy roads.
Motorists should reduce speeds and use caution, according to the DOT.
