Updated: Highway Patrol releases name of driver killed in north-central North Dakota rollover crash
The driver, a 28-year-old man from Maxbass, was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
MAXBASS, N.D. — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a man killed in a rollover crash that happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning, June 15.
According to a statement by the highway patrol, Dylan Obrien, 28, was killed in the one-vehicle, rollover crash that occurred at around 1:20 a.m. near Bottineau County Road 17 and 90th Street Northwest by the town of Maxbass, which is 40 miles north of Minot.
Obrien was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado and was headed west on 90th Street Northwest when he lost control of the pickup, the patrol said. The truck went into the south ditch and rolled.
Obrien was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
The driver died at the scene.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
