MANDAN, N.D. — A mobile home in Mandan exploded Wednesday, Jan. 18, sending two residents to the hospital.
Firefighters were dispatched around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a possible explosion, according to a Mandan City Fire Department Facebook post.
On arrival, crews found a mobile home in the area of Cortez Circle had exploded and was fully engulfed in flames, the post said.
Two occupants were inside the home at the time of the explosion and were treated and transported to the hospital by ambulance for their injuries, according to the post. Their conditions were unknown, the post said.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
