Northwest Oil Impact tour set for Aug. 6

The North Dakota Water Education Foundation is hosting the Northwest Oil Impact tour on Wednesday, Aug. 6, when participants will visit a water treatment plant, the Pioneer Peaking Station, a drilling rig site and a Watford City water depot.

The North Dakota Water Education Foundation is hosting the Northwest Oil Impact tour on Wednesday, Aug. 6, when participants will visit a water treatment plant, the Pioneer Peaking Station, a drilling rig site and a Watford City water depot.
The public is invited to attend the tour, which costs $20 per person and includes transportation, informational materials, meals, refreshments and a one-year subscription to the North Dakota Water magazine.
The tour begins and ends in Williston.
In addition to the Northwest Oil Impact Tour, the foundation is also hosting the Missouri River Expedition tour that departs from Bismarck on Aug. 20.
