Parts of southwest North Dakota are in the path of severe weather as a southeast-tracking storm moves through the area.
The National Weather Service said west central Bowman County is in a tornado warning, and northwest Bowman County, southwest Golden Valley County and western Slope County are in a severe thunderstorm warning until 5:15 p.m.
Radar indicated a storm was located 9 miles west of Marmarth, about 35 miles west of Bowman, and moving southeast at 20 mph. It was producing golf-ball-sized hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
