FARGO-A man identified as a person of interest in the homicide of a woman found dead in her south Fargo home in May has been charged with sexually assaulting and murdering her.
The charges were filed Thursday, June 30, in Cass County District Court against Landon Lauwagie in connection with the death of Cory Terlecky.
Not long after Terlecky died, Lauwagie was arrested on a probation violation in an unrelated case. He's being held at the Sibley County in southern Minnesota.
Fargo police are holding a news conference at 11 a.m. to discuss the case. The news conference will be live streamed on inforum.com and other regional Forum Communications websites.
