Police arrest man in woman’s death

MINOT - Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder in the weekend death of a woman in Minot.
Police arrested Darin Lee Parker, 47, Tuesday in the death of Karrie Williams, 44.
A news release from the Minot police said officers responded to a call for a possible death at at an apartment Sunday morning. Williams was taken to Trinity Hospital in Minot, where she died shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday.
Parker was found at the apartment and was originally arrested for violation of a judicial order. He was later arrested in the killing of WIlliams.
According to court records, Parker had two previous charges of simple assault.
